dMk Installs Panelized Garage

Last week, Dave Preedom got the call from LaValley Building Supply that his next job would arrive in Rutland at 8:00 a.m. and right on time, Keith Girard from Newport, New Hampshire arrived with a brand new panelized garage to be assembled on its foundation. "This is the third one we have done, on of the others included a horse barn with a hayloft room for parking cars," said Preedom. "I recently did two kitchens with Lavalley's one of them in an old farmhouse with a 1970's kitchen. Preedom also said, "Usually we go in tear out the old kitchen, do the prep work and often general contract the kitchen installation, then we go in and finish the project."

"A lot of people don't realize that LaValley has more panelized garages, they have additions to entire homes they can assemble in Newport, New Hampshire," according to Preedom. He also said, "In many cases, LaValley hires the contractor to install the slab, they organize everything else including ordering the building from their mill then they call us when the building arrives. After the slab is poured and the building arrives, we can almost always guarantee that the customer will be able to drive their car in within two days," said Preedom.

As he explained, Preedom's logo is "small d, big M and small k and that stands for Dave, Matt and Ken, me and my two boys. When school is out, Matt and Ken will be working for dMk builders LLC. Preedom's wife Wendy is the Financial Secretary for Calvary Bible Church.
