Kitchen Remodeling With Front Steps
|
This kitchen was home to a cast iron single well sink, 1 cabinet, a stove, fridge, and 2 outlets. There was a 4' x 8' pantry with an 8' counter covered with vinyl and a series of old crocked cabinets and shelving. We were hired to come in and demo this room. We planed the rough-sawn 2" x 4" studs down to bring the walls flat, replaced windows, installed outlets every 4', closed off the old pantry and opened it up to the dining room to enlarge the dining area. The maple floor was sanded down and refinished, then the cabinetry was installed, walls were tiled, cook top was mounted in counter top, and the oven pedestal was built to accept the oven unit. This room was finished off with pass thru bi-folds [located under the micro wave] that open to the TV room so snacks can be easily delivered. This beautiful maple kitchen was finished off with crown molding lining the cabinets and ceiling. We then built the walk way and steps leading to the kitchen door [it was originally a dirt path up the hill].
