Leaky Roof Repair

This 2-story apartment house had extensive water damage caused by a leak behind the roof flashing when the soffit rotted out and pulled away from the wall [this is a good hint a bigger problem exist]. The water ran down behind the exterior 1" boards and eventually rotted through the studs, spruce claps, and trim. when the wall was to saturated to dry it allowed the water to reach the sill beam, an 8"x8" timber that rotted away until there was nothing left on the corner foundation. The moister then broke down the mortar and brick foundation. We had to replace brick, sill, studs, insulation, sheathing, clap boards, and trim to repair this leak and support the roof line.
